Thread regarding Alteryx layoffs

An atmosphere of fear and anxiety

This place has become a real mess. Doesn't it seem like our bosses enjoy creating an atmosphere of fear and anxiety?
It's incomprehensible why they do it. I can't wait to leave.

Sorry to hear that was such a large percentage of your retirement. A word of advice: Never mix your investments with your job.

If you are HIGHLY confident in your company’s growth prospects you might keep some of your stock RSUs, but as a general rule the best bet is always to sell them as they vest.

When things go sideways, you do NOT want both your job and your investments to nosedive.

If the company takes off, and you’re part of the reason you’ll still do well.

Stock is down nearly $8 in after-hours trading.

Tuesday trading is going to be a huge blood-bath. No question that the stock is going to be well below $30 a share.

Quite a difference for those of us long-timers who were around when the stock was flying high at $140+ a share, not even three years ago !!

@eeks

I wouldn't even trust your manager. They are all snakes and will do anything to make them look golden.

Anyone ever wondered why nobody from the leadership team has been made redundant? Mo--ns

Barely any work is getting done. People just sitting on their hands…..

What a way to run a business. Sigh.

I just want to know if lay offs are happening for sure. It's anxiety producing and not healthy. This place has become so unhappy and untrustworthy. I no longer even trust some people that I work with. I'm just heads down exhausted. Ad they could care less.
