They are wanting the Manila reps to take most of the calls. This is why they are laying off 5000 us reps to keep them

Two things: First, I wouldn't trust anything that comes from the mouth of a CVS spokesperson. Their paid to spin the narrative into the companies favor to make them look good. And second, CVS pretty much has the media in their back pocket, so give it three days after it hits the news cycle, and the story will be gone, cause the CVS PR department will bury it.

CVS layoffs... are you impacted?
The company told 12 News that "a number of non-customer facing positions across the company" will be eliminated.
"We do not expect there to be an impact to our customer-facing colleagues in our stores, pharmacies, clinics or customer services centers," a spox said. WPRI
