Does anyone know what happens if u have RSUs and they vest during your notice period - can an employee still cash the shares out or does the notice period not count as normal service?

Your RSUs continue to mature until your official Seagate last day. I was RIFd 6/1 but my last day was 6/21. My RSUs matured 6/20. All of them deposited into my account. The remaining unvested RSUs disappeared from my account on 6/22.
options typically vest during a WARN notice period bc you're still an employee
Why not wait until you get the RSU?
When you are on notice period and leaving you can negotiate with the new joining company for a higher salary or sign on bonus
