Respond to: I would brace yourself next week if you are in Optum.
I would agree with this. I also heard Optum will be impacted next week.

Are we done with RIFs? Well, we were told by "leaders" - "no more" "done" back in February at Optum (started Q3 2022). Trust worthy? No.

Ref: Are we done? Media cover? Answer to both questions is a definite NO.
The only "strategic" approach from the leadership in collaboration with legal is to ensure the RIFs are done in waves. By this, they hope to accomplish the two goals - 1). Flying under the radar without getting attention from media. 2) Avoid the need to be in compliance with the "WARN" act (minimal criteria).

Yes, thats the only thing they are methodically planned ahead. Sadly!

I heard that there will be more on Monday, then that’s it for now. Hopefully I’m wrong

Our leader met with us and told us the lay offs are done “for now”. I know some one in another segment who’s leader met with them and told them the same thing. How long that lasts, we shall see.

Any news article or media coverage? We could at least highlight and not let this layoff go under the radar.

Can we be sure that it's over?
