So I have been training on a different job function but still in underwriting, I also believe it’s a lower pay scale. But I’m really really enjoying it, less stress and my boss isn’t on my a-s for my metrics, I have MS so I have cognitive issues, and this job I am training with is so much easier on my brain fog associated with MS. My current job is so stressful and I hate starting my shift everymorning. My question is how can I switch to the new position? Ask my boss I know, but can I willingly demote myself? Sounds stupid I know but I am so stressed with my boss and my old job I dont know how much more I can take before I have a flare up due to my MS.. also don’t want to get fired or quit, but geeze, I’m at a loss..

I enjoy work sharing. I cruise in 10-15 minutes late oer day. Sit around pretending to work. My friend sends me fake tasks and I reciprocate until we meet our daily goal. Then I go to lunch early...comeback after an hour or so. Then I create fake task and calendar items for the next day. Real ez days. I typically think. What would Tipstard do then I do the opposite.

Friend, if you aren't already getting accommodations through the ADA process, please get on that now. You can go to the disability ERG for some guidance about what sort to ask for. You may be able to find the right accommodations for your current position but if that doesn't work, sometimes they will work with you to find a position that does.
You can talk to HR about an ADA accommodation. You can ask your TM for the demotion yourself.
Except I wasn’t specific I didn’t tell you what I do in underwriting, my name not my location, underwriting has lots of functions so it could be anywhere, and I’m not the o ly person at sf with MS either so again not specific at all.
Maybe posting your specific delima on this site wasn't the best choice for you.
