Thread regarding UnitedHealth Group Inc. layoffs

Affordability/Total Cost of Care Team Largely Impacted

Almost half of the Affordability Team was laid off on Thursday - last day 8/10. Perhaps the Affordability Leadership (VP and RVPs of Affordability) should have been considered in the lay-offs since we were missing national targets so drastically - too many hoops to get any local market initiatives implemented and or counted. Affordability Leadership is dismal at best.... so out of touch. Many of those laid off had exemplary performance reviews year after year and there was absolutely no warning. Very upsetting....

Same boat… got laid off one week after a successful delivery of 300% return on investment on a project.
