Literally, mins after Stankey started talking I had to turn it off. I'm not sure what was more nauseating: listening to him recite all of the reasons why he should keep his job or watching all of the sheep in the audience nod their heads in agreement as he espoused his cherry-picked bullsh-t. If what he said was even remotely legit, the market would have reacted accordingly to 2nd qtr. results, and we would have seen more of a bounce than the pathetic .61% that we did. And, to hear him say in a nonchalant way that we are going to have to deal with a low stock price for however long as it were no big deal was absolutely ridiculous.
So, it seems like I missed the biggest news, his comment about the younger workforce. The cat is out of the bag regardless even if they scrub that from the recording. He won't be able to hide from that in a court room, no way. If anyone did record it, please post it to twitter or somewhere where we can all pull it down.
He may have made the biggest blunder of his career - how fitting!
