I really don't want to work 50+ hours a week because I don't want to risk my health. Is there anyone here who has worked long hours and thinks that it was worth it? I doubt it.

Put it this way: why not take those extra hours and invest in "you". Get the training to be in a better position that has work-life balance. When I was there, the work was not transfable to another company or to place me into a better position (even there!).
Let's get this straight. You work for yourself. You, and you alone, are in charge of your career and your quality of life. Any "atta' boys" cannot be taken to the bank. And your absence at home is definitely felt. You are definitely compromising your health when you have no time to workout, eat properly (due to grabbing fast food to make up for no time), or to socialize (yes, this is important!).
No, it’s not with it. But keep putting those sweaty wads of cash away until you buy your freedom.
Nope. Run to a company that won’t steal your soul under the guise that it is for the members. Our members fight and stand for freedom, not slave labor.
“Most of the time, I only work maybe 6 hours a day if that…”
You must be in CLO
50 hours doesn’t seem grueling and health threatening. That’s more like 70 hours. You still have runway.
Absolutely not! Don’t do it!
As a former member of the Unitee States military, USAA no longer represents the value of ot's members. USAA is run by executive nozzles chasing the almighty dollar.

All any of us has is time. If you dropped dead at your desk tomorrow, USAA would have hired your replacement by Monday. It’s not going to be as easy for your friends, your family, though.
If you enjoy the work or it's a short term thing where you're getting experience that will pay off in another position, then fine. But to work for "the mission" or some misplaced sense of loyalty is never worth it. It's a job, it's not who you are.
