Layoffs occur Monday through Thursday and will continue. Kruger set to announce end of work-from-home during Employee Call on August 8th. More attrition following that announcement. Packages are not great. One continues to receive monthly payments until one finds new employment. Then it evaporates.

I am on the Suncor books until January. EI is 45 weeks. At 45 weeks, it means I won’t have to become a Walmart Greeter until next June.
What was the severance pkg like? I heard pretty good like 4-6 weeks per year of service. That’s higher than most companies I would imagine?
Dropped remotely, and right before my work anniversary to save them an extra week’s stat. Severance.

Finance hit today. As mentioned, packages are not great. You are offered monthly pay until you find employment and then the severance stops. Ridiculous. Layoffs are Tues and Thursday. Look for meeting rooms booked in large blocks by HR.
Not saying this is false, but I have not heard anything to substantiate the end of WFH. I agree we probably find out the truth on Aug 8th call. Until then, try not to overreact to rumors on a sketchy site like this!
