Is there a Q&A with Wayne and the board member running for CEO? Myself and other USAA members and employees would like to know their stances. priorities and goals for USAA.

The CEO is not an elected position, but rather he or she is appointed by the USAA Board of Directors. At this time, there is no BoD member running for CEO. The board only keeps a ceo if the ceo does what the board wants. Especially at usaa which is not a public company.

The board is happy with Wayne.

Why would one of our Board Members want to go backward in their career to be a CEO?

Was this copied and pasted from elsewhere? Looks like two or three different sources of text were combined in the OP and I'm having a hard time understanding. Was this a response to an email? Was this something sent to an employee? I guess I'm a little confused.
