1st: Disconnect the pc from the network, so the company can't send a remote wipe command to the company pc.
2nd: Plug in an android device and set it to file transfer mode.
3rd: You should now be able to transfer whatever you want to your android phones file system.

USB drives (thumbdrives) were locked out of the user access profiles a couple of years ago. However, one of the departing engineers had a WD portable drive that wasn't locked out and he was able to get his personal photos off before he left. Might be why androids will do the same, make sure you have enough storage space left on the memory card of the Android. They might lock all external devices now who knows.
Why an Android device instead of a USB thumb drive?
