Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Engineering students spend 4 years in college and nearly

A quarter of a million dollars in college education;
Then they get a job at companies like Oracle to get replaced by cheaper work visa workers who have been brought over here: what a cool system!

Oracle is not a private company.
Nothing wrong with wanting a good job
They have no idea what’s in store for them tho if they are to be managed by corrupt racist bigots that abuse employees that take employees work that they don’t even understand yet use to get promoted so they advantage of more employees.
That’s about to stop.

That’s unacceptable and we will not stop until things are cleaned up.
They are entitled to work for an equal opportunity ethical company that has real leadership that respects and encourages employees so they will prosper & grow. The company is a reflection of its employees which is a reflection of mgmt
So the real problem ….hmmm
mid mgmt thinks they are entitled to anything they want. But now,
It’s time to pay for harming people.

This is some funny stuff, it never changes many people don’t apply themselves at college and hardly get by.

They’ve never really been hungry. Then they get to the real world and feel entitled to a high paying job and think they don’t really need to work hard as they haven’t really worked in the past.

Problem for them is there are hungry hard working people that graduate each year.
They can only hide in the crowd for so long then.

"I don't understand this hatred and privilege mentality as if all private companies should hire only them and depending on what their citizenship, color, race, etc."

There's a simple explanation. They're losers.

I don't understand this hatred and privilege mentality as if all private companies should hire only them and depending on what their citizenship, color, race, etc.

It's US CS/stem grads who thought tech was the way to go, but now are unable to accept the fact that they only have commotized skills and that there is no such thing as job security. They were sold a bill of goods and have a hard time admitting that they made a bad career choice.

It's way simpler to blame foreign workers for their degraded personal situations than it is to either course correct or accept personal responsibility.

I'm not justifying the behavior, only trying to explain why it is happening.

Just because you have a habit of making bad choices in life , nobody is obliged to make you successful. Heard Capitalism?

Most of those ‘visa workers ‘ spend the same 4 years on their engineering degree and then get a masters degree from a college in the country they work in , before they get a worker visa. You sound like a very ignorant person with hatred in your heart !!

For people with real technical skills , there are enough jobs.
