That day 3 months ago when each of us found out that we are selected to be RIFd, I was at home working. I learned over the following weeks that I needed and sought out my wife's help and council on navigating the whole event as I could not do it alone.
In that spirit, I seek advice, thoughts help on how I can genuinuely help all of us that were RIFd to find a new position.
And yes I am still looking.

Really sorry to hear about your situation. That day was awful to sit through. I recommend upping your skills and getting a job, just any job, to keep the wolves at bay. Please keep us posted on how things go for you.
Find a job while you continue to look in your field. Retail work is always looking for help, including store management that doesn’t require much experience usually.
Go back to school for a while, or get trained in new tech.
Worst thing you can do is apply for jobs all day long, every day, and sit around and wait for interviews. Apply for just a few good jobs you’re a good fit for each week, then occupy your time doing something else.
