Now that it has been a few months since the May 1 layoff, how is it going with sales, campus relations, ect? I know it is horrible for managers, or should I say "leaders" for those stores that no longer have a manager. Are Marketing managers, that were "working from home" actually on the road every day filling slots in stores without staff? Are regionals hiding behind their computers on conference call after conference call?
Any contracts lost, new ones optained?
The ivory tower doesn't care about how much staff is working, they care only about the bottom line, so how is the bottom line?

So temp agency seems to be doing the same as they did before. Most hires will need to be directed to agency by Store Manager/ leader. Which means Follett is paying the agency, but the stores need to do the work of recruiting if they want to hope to have staff come fall. Great way to reduce the work load JRC.
Wondering about the created positions of Team Leads and Campus Store Leaders. Were stores successful getting staff hired to fill the needed roles?
The temp agency seems to only be "actively recruiting" former temps. They have been calling the store to tell me "no thanks". Can't really blame them.
Lol
Facing rush with a pant load of hours but not one is responding to hiring.. maybe someone has voiced the wonders of our workplace.. blackballed?
