All Tier 2 HR employees with the exception of Benefits are being let go and the work is moving to Costa Rica...go figure just look at the exchange rate. Rumor has it Tier 3 will be next. What a joke. Marvin will ruin this company just like he did with JC Penny.

The layoffs are real. My friend is training her Costa Rican replacements in her department before she is laid off. Deplorable. Will never do any business there again!
"Q2 '24 will have eceiving reduced to just a DS and a receiver. Stores that have a Fulfillment DS will lose the DS and instead go back to being under the FE DS. The 401k matching will change to 2% matched for the first 3%, after that threshold it will be 1% matched until 6%. Any store that has failed to hit sales targets by this point will be "put under the microscope" and targeted to be closed. Stores that Lowes does not own the property, but leases, will be closed down. Any store that is within 20 miles of another one will be considered for closure as well."
I DO think there will be personnel reductions in the stores, but I'm not sure I believe these claims.
Next round of layoffs won't be until Q4. Big changes will be coming after. At that point it will be anyone who is still in a remote work position, as well as any non mission-critical IT positions. Additionally IT help desk personnel will be transitioned into other positions as the help desk is fully outsourced to Bangalore.
Q1 '24 is going to be the biggest changes for stores, as majority of the stores will lose an ASM or two, based on sales. Additionally, the only remaining specialist positions will be in Pro. All other specialists will be have to apply for other positions or be let go. Winning together bonuses will also go back to requiring the LTR to make winning together.

It's coming, and I feel sorry for everyone who is going to get hit hard in these changes. Start preparing now.
HR, bloated, top heavy, and laid. Interesting grouping of words.
Here, kitty-kitty!
The HR division, especially at corporate in Mooresville, is bloated and top heavy. Most of them need to be layed off.
This is satire. Lowe's isn't moving to Costa Rica. If they did, where would Americans go to walk their dogs?
Please explain tier 2 and 3.
