There will be no layoff announsements until September. Whilst there is more time to prepare do not be complacent.
Cheers for now.

"It's pretty clear WFH will be canned first. Why else would they be keeping track of attendance now. Do what you want but don't be surprised if you get laid off next round."
Those classified as remote aren't having their attendance looked at. Its those who are not classified as remote that are NOT following the company's RTO guidelines that need to be on the look out. Thats why attendance is being looked at. If you're not badging into the office the number of days set forth by RTO, you'll likely get a talking to at some point. I know a few that have, even a few managers.
When is it going expected in September beginning or end?
I think September is definitely going to be the time it happens. Happy Hunger Games! And may the odds be ever in your favor.
Not every organization cares about WFH and is taking attendance. Freier's org does for some areas. Others have been told they can continue to WFH. Same with TFB. It's mostly just all the people that were not remote prior to the pandemic are expected to return to an office.

Sure Jan.
Any delay in layoff is a welcome relief..

Sales teams, keep slinging the “free lines” and other items. If it has a SIM, it’s a net add and makes us look better.
