Anyone have recommendations on where to report intentional bad faith claim practices? I have only been here a few years but it is evident that they are adding processes that are designed to slow claim handling down and pay less. I have been recording calls w some leaders and many of them have more than acknowledged this. This is the most unethical corporation in the industry and something must be done about it. I am going to start w the DOI and have been accumulating specific examples but I want to go as far as possible.

Are there whistleblower protections?
Florida and Maryland DOI would love to get a piece of them as a starting point. But any DOI would suffice. The Colossus model is a joke and a scam. Show them some of the evaluations and EC remarks as well.
BS

Yes, the DoIs are the place to go. Some states are more proactive, some are rubber stamps.
There's also the NAIC (National Association of Insurance Commissioners) as well as some consumer activists that focus on the insurance industry like the CFA (Consumer Federation of America)
You sound like a real gem to work with. Something tells me this isn’t your first rodeo. Get a life.
It goes much farther than just claims.
Do these managers know that you are recording them?
