If they are stupid enough to ask again

If you're like me, you know the surveys they send out are total bullsh-t and are definitely not anonymous. If the surveys were anonymous, it would paint a true picture of how people really feel about this place and that would NOT be good for recruitment nor public consumption for a multitude of reasons.

Distrust, paranoia, mental exhaustion, inability to focus and unmitigated anger are just some of the responses I suspect they would have received if people were honest - and that's prior to the current sh-t they are force-feeding us now. With the whole environment now being even more charged, I suspect they won't send any survey requests out for quite some time. But if they do, because we all know how ridiculously incompetent they are, don't risk being telling them how you really feel - just don't respond to that stupid sh-t at all.

How do you think that percentage is calculated? Just because someone hasn't forwarded you the report with UIDs doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

You get email sent out to entire group urging everyone to complete the survey.

YOU do not get a targeted email asking YOU why YOU have not completed YOUR survey.

Stop lying. It doesn't work that way.

Managers get more money or are graded higher if all their direct reports complete the survey. That’s why they push it.

Like, I said previously, you will never convince some people.

Managed non bargained for 20+ years. Countless surveys. Never got that report.

Got percentage of my team that responded. Got pushed hard to get more responses. Never got a report with a UID of someone that did not respond. (Though I pretty much knew anyway).

Why do you think it’s due after the bonus?

The survey will never get my full answer. 5 stars, move on with your day. It’s only used to encourage shareholders and the board, and to enact revenge on the workforce. The honest purpose of the survey died years ago. Remember, broken cultures start at the top, not the bottom.

They aren’t anonymous, but I don’t think they care if you put anything negative in the responses. For whatever reason, they really get annoyed when no one does them, which is why I never do them.

Except that each survey has an individual tracking ID in the link, the survey company knows who wrote each comment or responded negatively. by default these details are not sent in the survey results to the company but I can state with 100% certainty that leadership absolutely CAN get those details if they ask the survey company for them. Manager get reports of the specific people on their team who have not completed those NPS surveys. They are not actually anonymous, they are conditionally anonymous.

Anyway, what’s true is that the percentage that take the survey is far more important than the actual survey.

If you could somehow just get everyone to not take it, that would be just awesome. But will never happen.

We were told repeatedly the survey comments were going to be used to determine whether a center would stay open. Tell us how great our leadership is! Over half chose to not fill them in instead here.

Definitely not anonymous and it’s all bs anyway, no one wants to say what they truly feel because of the risk of retaliation and being put on the lay off lists. Everyone is fearful of losing their job here.

They're semi-anonymous. They know the location where the survey was taken. So, if the surveys show a lot of complainers, someone is going to say the site isn't being run right. But, their answer to sites that don't run right is to close them.

So, I always answered my survey with positive answers. The only thing I cared about was my individual situation, which was, the work was doable, the pay good enough, so try to stay on the gravy train.
