Saving Intel is obviously calling for doing things that should be incompatible with Christian principles. In Pat's place, I'd seriously look into using that as a good excuse for bailing out.

This behavior is nothing new. People were warned for many years about doing business with/in Russia, but all you would hear back was "Look at the size of this market! Look at the size of his market!". Nothing has been learned.
After reading that article, I lost all respect for the CEO of Intel because he basically said he cares more about money than he does the security of the United States of America.
Even worse, Nvidia is also petitioning the Biden Administration to relax export restrictions to China because...MONEY. The company at the bleeding edge of most powerful ML and AI systems on the planet wants to sell their products to a communist country he-l bent on global domination.
Same with Qualcomm.
Intel, Nvidia, and Qualcomm should be heavily fined for merely suggesting doing business with China.
This is a complete disgrace, but anyone who's dealt there can attest it's better to have the yellow di--ck in your mouth than up your a--ss. It didn't have to come to this, and it's a shame that it did.
Because intel is the leader in grifting and other companies have customers and have funds to invest in research with or without china. intel is like that dimwit thing no one wants trying to bounce from one lap to another. really shameful.

Pat does not understand that his 1st priority should be the security of America and Western democracies, that make Intel's business possible, not stockholders.
He does not have the capacity to understand.
