This $hit is happening in my area (within ECIO) - I was lured into a new role by a new executive who was then laid off himself TWO WEEKS after I joined the team. Who do you think replaced him? A former regions employee, that's who!! It makes me sooo mad and it's SO easy to see the manipulation happening right in front of me. UGH!!

Remember some of the disasters that Chad Borton brought over from FifthThird but Stuart Parker only let Chad bring like 2 or 3 and they didn’t report directly to Chad. Wayne has let some of the ECs bring over 4 or 5 and they all report to the respective ECs. HR is Waste Management, CIO is Regions, ERC is Citi & WF, Strategy & Brand is BB&T, Truist, & SunTrust. Jeff Wallace and Chief Legal guy have both kept a lot of the old guard around. LoBs ECs were all promoted up so they didn’t bring anyone over really. We used to get a bunch of former CapOne folks but that line has dried up. Why? because we don’t have any new Executives directly from CapOne recently. Audit is full of former PNC Bank people that all work remote.
Just wait until the head of the snake (Amala) is gone and the rest will follow…they (Jodi and others) wouldn’t stand a chance of surviving.
Anyone who has “special projects” in their title or on their connect page is likely someone that is being protected from being impacted. EMG who want to safeguard from layoff and/or give a favored lackey special circumstances (like Remote) will find a way to differentiate them from the rest.
