Does any club check id for alcohol sales? Our gm told us not to cause it takes too much time and makes our score worse.

Yes our club does if they look under 40 as required by law in California. Our scores are bad anyways so a few more seconds to verify the ID isn’t going to make a difference for us
A lot of the time the person dispensing isnt even the person that takes it out. One will be inside dispensing and another taking stuff to the cars. They dont wcen have the name as to who it goes to, just the number they checked in to. I heard our store manager got the idea from another store manager. Maybe the ATF people should do some club pickup orders
you can get in legal hot water if you don't ask for ID. If they ask you why just tell them it's to save your own but . To bad if it makes the score worse who cares. Do the right thing and always ask because the next person in line could be a ATF agent!!!
Definitely recommend checking it, especially to cover your own a** if something was to happen down the road. If he really is telling you that I'd report your gm to the higher ups at corporate. You could get in trouble ( fired and more) yourself for making the sale without checking.
name your club we will send an ATF guy out tp shut you down.. Just verify that your manager told you to not check ids... At a minimum he will get fired. Likely the club would be fined and maybe lose its alcohol license..
We are told to finish the dispensing while still inside. He has taken orders to cars and told us he didnt check id.
U can also get in legal trouble for selling to someone under 21 along with the company so I would ask for ID.
