So I can read multiple comments of “I’m only staying because I’m nearly retired”/“I refuse to find something better as if they made me redundant I’d get a packet”

Because I want to laugh as this company cannibalises itself until there's nothing but teeth left. And poke fun st the fact that all of their UK SC clientd like the MOD, Leonardo and BAE are st serious risk.
DXC dont collect BAE Greenlnk or MODnet laptops from leavers. A few ex dxc colleagues still have theirs. Yellowlk BAE secret network is not secure. Open firewall rules and stuff.

Morbid curiosity. Just every now and again to see if Mikey is still as bad as ever and reassures me to know I made the right decision. I genuinely feel for the people left behind
To appreciate what I've got now. That no matter how things are challenging in my current employment outside DXC, it is still relatively much better.
I check back in at best once a quarter and typically it is when I am talking to my clients and still hearing negative feedback on DXC (company I work for is not a competitor to DXC, DXC couldn’t touch them with a 10 foot pole). I check in to see if the drivers are overworked, underpaid employees, mass layoffs, and incompetent leadership padding their pockets at the expense of the shareholders. So far every check in it’s the same thing. I feel sorry for the employees. Wish someone on the board would wake up and eject the leadership like waste from a plane.
Why do I still hang around here?
I don't. I check here now and again to see what's going on, and how many more people DXC has got rid of. I worked there for a couple of years, and met some surprisingly good people (and a few really bad ones).
Morbid curiosity brings me back here now and again to see just how bad DXC has got. It seems to have got worse than I thought it ever could.
Same reason everyone watches a car accident. Plus I invested my time in this wreck.

Every new employee deserves attractive pay options for joining.
It's interesting to see how this will pan out. Salvino thinks of himself he's the best CEO in the world, while actually, he's mediocre at best, he probably would make an ok COO, but he's not a business leader. He thought he would cut quick and hard and his buddies at accenture would come knocking on his door to buy DXC, that's not going to happen and now it seems he's just grabbing as much money as he can while running the whole company into the ground.
Because I hate the Executives at DXC for not giving merit increases to people who meet for exceed their goals year in and year out.
Because the board still is taking stock options the NEW CFO was just given 91,614 shares of DXC stock worth $2,573,437.26 but has no money or stock options for the employee's
