Thread regarding USAA layoffs

USAA 2023 Proxy Notice

If you're a USAA member there was an email sent to you this notifying you of the 2023 Annual Meeting of the Members and Proxy on August 25th. Your vote for the board needs to be in by August 2022.

If you want to see meaningful change happen, research that board and put in your vote as a member.

This has been a long time coming ever since the new CEO took over. When I was working there, the atmosphere was all about client satisfaction and employee retention. The exact same month the new CEO took over it changed to what all call centers do ... nothing but getting customers off the phone as quickly as possible and ALWAYS make a sale. I quit because I had ambitions to make 80k a year. I asked my supervisor what track that would place me on. She laughed and said that it would take at least 20 years so good luck. I quit the following month and now make more than that in just a few years later. USAA has completely lost its focus and until the head is cut off from the snake. Nothing will change.

You would need to a be a USAA company of eligibility member. Not CIC or GIC or Garrison.
