"Leadership" has made nothing clear to me. I've asked and was given vague promises that the population will be lower by then so hold tight.

@1xit+1nGu582C - 500 from what org?
I see these Alpharetta posts and I’m like get ready cause 500 of us are movin there baby
reservation system - lots of productivity.
all the critical skill people who are still at home are laughing at you.
company is a joke and not even a funny one.
We’re shoulder to shoulder in Alpharetta today with people working at high tops. No cubes available on the reservation system, if they are available usually the chair or equipment is broken.
Just refuse to comply. They will only fire a couple of people as a show of force. Maybe it won’t be you.
That’s a lie. The seats at Alpharetta are always booked up on certain days. You can show up and get a desk in hopes that someone didn’t check in, but there are days when no desks are available for reservations.
There are always available seats in Alpharetta.
Issue with "tell your boss & work from home" : SO 1 hour to work by commuter train, then 1.5 hrs home, but boss still expects all work done.
Of course, getting home would still be required if working on site, but no express train until rush hour.
Tons of seats available at HQ Dallas.
“Maybe try actually being a manager and creating a solution rather than posting a cry for help on an anonymous Internet site!“
What a mo--nic thing to say, troll. You think every manager has access to Corporate Real Estate? This action was pushed down by C-Levels who have a “Let them Eat Cake” attitude. As a manager, my solution is easy. Work From Home! When 4th and 5th levels start crying about it, tell them there are no open reservations, and offices are over capacity, fire hazards, and in violation of OSHA standards for ergonomics. Anyone being forced to sit on a floor should file an OSHA complaint.
Could you squat or bring a rug to sit on? Start examining Asian and muslim cultures for seating. Leave the curry pot in your cab.
Just stay home and see what happens. Should work out fine.
I’m confused by the feedback telling people to work in hallways and what not. Leadership kind of made it clear that we don’t have to do that. If there is no reservation available, inform your Boss and work from home.
A manager still needs an HR approved location. Otherwise, I would work from home.

There’s plenty of seats on the top floors in Dallas. Just head on up there.
Time to start your very own tent city on the sidewalk.
Urinals are pretty good laptop holders. Don’t flush though.
Chip the door and go back out to your car. Work off the vpn from there.
My camper van has a nicer set up then the office anyways.
Even all the toilet stalls are reserved
I have been sitting in the hallway and lobby.
Badge in and find a place to squat or reserve a conference room all day. If you badge in, leave and then log on to vpn they will know. If you aren’t making your 3 days min, you will get fired.
