DXC management

Someone posted,,
"I don't understand why the lower managers don't report up the chain that the employees are fed up and no longer buying thier next year, next year stories anymore."

It's simply because they are incompetent spineless worms. That is why they are placed where they are... They have no competence or ability and even less guts. These "managers" are afraid of speaking up to superiors and are afraid of even correcting or guiding their underlings. They manage by phone meetings and hide at home.
This is why dxc fails at everything they do

What makes you think the managers aren't in the same boat as you? Working for incompetent exec who do business for their own benefit, not empowered to make a difference, demoralized, demotivated and no pay rise either

You’re wrong, excutives know how the employee’s feel and that is the same way people managers feel. If they complain they will be gone before you can say WFR. I know as I was a people manager and a working manager of a support group before I left the wh-t hole DXC

Not quite sure what they think will be the effect on the business when 25% of the staff are n00bs - even if they are good technical people the impact to work output is going to be appalling

we're seeing the effect every quarter (revenue decline) plus the high profile client walk outs (see other posts here on Lloyds and BMW)

FY-24 we would have replaced another 30k, we are definitely fixing the labor pyramid.

I suspect as a manager you can voice concerns upwards if you like but even if it gets to the top nobody listens because this is all part of the plan.

Its all about grinding out expensive resources by not paying raises.

You quit and are replaced by cheaper labour.

Its clearly working - 27,000 "new hires" last year and the overall headcount only reduces slightly. Thats replacement going on at pace.

Not quite sure what they think will be the effect on the business when 25% of the staff are n00bs - even if they are good technical people the impact to work output is going to be appalling. Takes 6 months+ for anyone to get up to speed and start doing useful work in a new company.
