In pulse, search/look for Anthem SPD Excess Plan. That explains what the "severance" is. A couple of years ago, if you were 62+ or going to turn 62 during the severance period the a couple of things were different (like you got the full severance even if you got another job before severance ran out).
Do they give severances when laid off or just last check?
Normally a Thursday of a non-pay week.
Its typical after a successful quarter. ( Town hall) We satisfy Wallstreet, then layoff peeps. So yes Q3.. what goes up must come down ( employees)
Layoff is just a way of life in this miserable company.
