Thread regarding Windstream Corp. layoffs

Why did you decide on quiet quitting?

I believe that the extent of the damage caused by this terrible management could best be expressed by the number of people who were comfortable working here but still ended up leaving, as well as excellent employees who at one point simply decided to work only the bare minimum so as not get themselves in trouble.

I've done 30-40pecent of what I can do just because the person sitting next to me is doing the same. Leadership just adjusts the numbers to make it look better. If too many people under you get canned, you will likely get canned as well. So, it pays to fluff. Nobody cares.
Just half-a-s the job while training new skills for a better job elsewhere. This boat is sinking... if you didn't notice.
I've been fluffing my job for 2 years now. I do online studies working on a new degree instead of working. Thanks for paying for my school PeeStream.

Unions can do some good things. They can also be attract, protect, and reward lazy d-mbasses. That happens a lot here.

Like any company in America cares about about the rank and file! If they say they do, they are lying, but you don’t hear them say that anymore. Corporate America has busted the unions so that they are mostly irrelevant. I’m glad I’m at the end of my career rather than the middle or beginning. Workers today will make less money and have less in benefits, because they have no idea of the concept of solidarity, unity, and sticking together for the common good. It’s all about pure greed now, every individual for his or her self. They took away your numbers and now you have no strength. Pretty neat concept, divide and conquer.
