Xerox gives raises to improve employee retention

FYI to all Xeroids. A week ago Xerox gave out surprise raises to some TSR’s and Specialist to help with retention. Of course those individual were asked not to say anything…and they wonder why there’s a trust factor. The raises were between 4 and 10 percent.

if these raises are real and no strings attached take them and then use it as a starting point when you negotiate a new job with Fuji

I have no idea what the criteria was, I got 10%, I've heard some got as high as 14%. I suspect they are concerned about Fuji launching their toner based production printers, and poaching our people. The Fuji careers pages has many postings looking for toner experienced reps, take a look.

Just keep in mind most of the raises were NOT for good performance but more because they know no one wants to work for a company that is on its last leg. Easier to spend a few dollars making people think they are appreciated versus thousands of dollars in training just to have people quit soon after they get here!

I’ve been working PS and heavy production for 38yrs. Our workload and shift coverage has double. Our team is a tight knit group and nobody on our team got a raise.

Do yourself a favor and volunteer to work on the biggest printers we service. Our value to the company is being recognized. Yes it was a happy surprise and hard to believe.
