Thread regarding USAA layoffs

Learning from actors strike?

Should we be learning something from them ? Their beef is around AI replacing their jobs and CEOs getting millions of dollars while others get much less and or no work. ( I know cry me a river but hear me out ) why don’t we are Corp america workers strike and calls the news and lead something like this enough is enough

Even though I willingly left USAA not long ago for a much better compensated job at another company, I'd still love to see recently laid-off employees and current disillusioned employees, members, and their families set up camp in front of the main campus and protest for changes for days on end...That'd catch their attention!

I like where your head’s at but they have a lot more leverage being in unions. USAA doesn’t have a union, and in classic big corporation fashion, they indoctrinate ignorant (in the true sense of the word, not meant derogatory) new hires that all unions are bad.

Wayne is calculated and conniving. It’s part of what makes him so sickening. He doesn’t know how to lead a company to profit, high quality products and services, good employee morale, or positive member sentiment, but he knows how to cover his a-s when he makes one of his sh---y decisions.

You can “strike” if you want to, but without the teeth and organizing of a union you’ll be fired before you can hold up your picket sign.
