While some have already been happening quietly in the background, larger cuts are happening on August 7th. 10% in many businesses. This roulette game has been exhausting and demoralizing. I hope for anyone that gets affected by this, that you land on your feet and that it ends up being the best thing that ever happened to you. We are not family, we are commodities. Just keep that in mind and try not to take it personally. Wishing the best for everyone.

A lot of people are really stressed out at Dell and senior managment want more and more quarter on quarter.

I've heard there's a cut coming from some middle management that have moved on. The timing of the above matches. It's hearsay so take it with a grain of salt. Not sure which divisions it will impact. Just have things ready in case.
With that week being the first week after a sales half ends, I wonder how many will be getting a pink slip while out of the office.
