Intel has a nasty habit of creating groups that 'enable' markets. This can be a viable strategy in a new market with high margins and lots of innovation.
In a mature market with established players and low gross margins it is an absolute waste of money.
Intel should have cut all of these cost centers decades ago. They just keep popping up. This is a great example of how messed up Intel strategy and culture is.
Pointless group anyway , just Intel trying to artificially find a niche to ram x86 … if NUC couldn’t survive , no change Chromebook should
