UHC….just needs to be direct and cut to the chase and layoff all of the stateside roles and force them to India……..stop beating around the bush and drop the hammer on it. As much as it would su-k for a small portion the majorly of individual contributors I am sure would gladly welcome it. Just to put the the final nail in their employment coffins here at the company.

When you say terminate stateside roles, I am assuming you mean Medicaid and if so, most Medicaid products require United States or state based positions. The states are clear that no one offshore is allowed access to work any part of the contract (not technology, call center, reporting, even print centers).
UHC tries yo stay out of the press. If they were to announce something lijke that, it would be bad PR. I think it’s the I ky reason they’re laying off so slowly.
Its sad that you can see the trend but more importantly, welcome it as a form of relief. I myself alternate between wanting to be laid off but know I can't really afford to be and then just being too lazy to look for another opportunity. It's probably a common trauma response but I think I am finally fed up enough to start actually looking to see what else is out there.
