Thread regarding USAA layoffs

I AM A MEMBER

So I worked at USAA for 12 years, but I have been a member for 47 years because my father was a military officer. So as a member, I would like to know how I can communicate with the board of directors without having to go through the a-s hats at corporate. I want my voice to be heard, and not edited prior to my communication being received by the board of directors. Can somebody answer this for me?

I, also, am very willing to join a class action lawsuit. One idea I have is to create a place where we can indicate our interest and to attract and eventually hire the best attorney to gather more interest by explaining all it means to those joining the lawsuit, and actually sue these clowns' pants off!

I have moved on to a higher paying, more senior position and do not compromise what I now have going for me. But I would do it in a heartbeat against this awful company. This is the first time in a long, wonderful career that I actually despise a company and would take this recourse.

So interesting fact - if you're an employee and a member you can't post to the social forums on USAA.com.

I would like to know how many veterans, national guard, and military spouses have been “impacted” in the last year of layoffs. How many have filed complaints to ER about retaliation, harassment, hostile workplace, etc and had it ignored?

Also - am open to contributing to the class action lawsuit. Have been wondering who/how someone could take the lead to pull everyone together for this.

I am so glad to hear that members are looking into a class action lawsuit. This is awesome!!!

When they destroy employees, they are destroying the lifeblood of a company. As observed throughout this site, support of existing products has deteriorated. Innovation is going out of the company, also. Product features are delayed or cancelled. Members are funding a select few with ridiculous bonuses and salary increases. And how can vets find a home at USAA when their jobs are going out of the country?

The members are not being served!

I hope you can loosen the peacock's talons on the bundles he has raked in, and put that money back where it belongs!!!!

Thank you for speaking up and taking action!

If you write a letter to the EC or even social media it will mostly get ignored unless of course it goes viral. So either try to get your complaint to go viral or option B is to pull all of your business.

Better use those emails before the plants on here from Corporate Communications or HR change those email addresses, or divert them to a box that goes nowhere

Just copy/paste your complaint on all their social media sites, then just upload that same letter to your usaa.com profile and title it “executive complaint.” Only way to really get the BOD attention, is word of mouth and having a large number of members follow through with complaints.
