If you are not looking for a new job and have decided to stay at T even after all of this, then say hi to the Titanic on your way down for me. That's how low this place is about to sink. I can't understand those of you who don't see that and still think there's any kind of a future here.

I’ve been interviewing and I’m embarrassed to have stayed at T so long. It looks terrible on your resume now. Other employers have so much more to offer. You’re viewed automatically as mediocre. Pay is about the same. I’m not going to getting a big pay bump for leaving but at least I’ll be getting off the titanic before it sinks.
Agree with the person who mentioned LinkedIn. Hundreds are applying for one job and sometimes you don’t even get a response back. But the positive news is that there are 100% remote companies. If you have been slacking at T, you won’t be slacking anymore with a new company. Finding a hybrid job will be your best option.
"If you have been working at ATT for a while, many people think they are very well. At pays at about the midpoint of high tech companies."
Been interviewing since they threated to fire me over the shot...show me a better path and I'll gladly pursue it.
Unfortunately, having T on the resume does not mean what it used to back in the good ol days. Perhaps, even an albatross.
Other "high tech" companies have offered 10-30k less than current salary, with two weeks vacation, not five. Not really attractive, in my opinion.
Money's too good here at T, though.
I would gladly trade some of that money for some real job security, but unfortunately, it doesn't look like you can expect it from anyone these days.
I like my job and have marketable skills so I’m staying till they pay me to leave.
I have marketable skills too, lots of experience (as most of us do), and still relatively young (under 40). I'm job hunting right now, and I was pleasantly surprised to see there are hundreds of openings that would be a great fit for me, and thousands that are close enough, however, every application I submit, Linkedin states there are 200+ applications already submitted, and it's just the maximum they display, might be thousands for all I know. Point being, it's busy out here, guys, it's better not to delay it for too long. They did pay me to leave, but I'm fully expecting to use all that money up before I get into something else.
“Craft here. Show me the money and I'll leave.”
Not happening. They don’t do that anymore.

Craft here. Show me the money and I'll leave.
If you have been working at ATT for a while, many people think they are very well. At pays at about the midpoint of high tech companies. If you work hard and have a strong skill set you will make a lot more money leaving ATT. Its easy to get comfortable at T, its exhilarating to leave and find a spot at a company that is growing and values you.
Good luck to all..make the move soon, believe in yourself.
Stanking sinking ship!
I’ve been selectively interviewing at companies. Had a couple offers making more lined up, but those places would have been miserable to work at. Believe me when I say there are far worse places to be than here. Though I will say with the rapid fire surpluses they’ve started doing without notice, this RTO/hub fiasco and it is starting to look kind of dire here. I think if you’re in Atlanta or Dallas there will be opportunities as folks elect not to relocate. I wouldn’t relocate either unless there was a big raise, promotion and relo assistance offered, so I sympathize with those folks. However, my fear is that they will just dump more work on groups and people that are already overworked and not backfill. Have to see. Most hiring takes place end of the year and early next as budgets get approved. So good time to start looking is around now.
RTO this year for managers and cutting the ball and chain next year. For those that stay be ready for a ride as T looks to contract out the union Jobs. Hard to believe but the union was asleep during the Gigapower development, now T knows how much they can save.

I started looking for another job after T threatened to fire me over the shot multiple times.
That notion absoltely destroyed my loyalty.
Been on numerous interviews. Money's too good here at T, though.
Agree. If you're not actively looking for other employment you only have yourself to blame for when you're left unemployed.
The OP has it here. Believe. Leave.
