Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Intel Layoff/cpm action happened Wed 7/12/2023

This is the second such action this year. Multiple groups / business units are affected. This shows poor planning on the part of Intel, as the hit to morale across the company may have a larger effect than any overall savings, especially when put in the perspective of the billions being spent on new manufacturing capability that in all good candor, may never be used by Intel.

Lots more cuts coming... Company too slow in taking action in face of three billion dollar loss.

Greg L’s group is doing a VSP but 7/12 is not any key date for that. So what are you referring to here?
