AT&T will soon be under $100 Billion in market capitalization. The value of AT&T keeps decreasing while Stankey’s compensation keeps increasing!
Dude! T is exceptional
The only reason the company didn’t bankrupt yet is the little cash flow that keep paying for the dividends but reducing the true market value of the company
Sooner than you think the little cash flow won’t be enough to pay decent dividends and investors will take their money elsewhere and the stock will tank to less than a dollar the share overnight
Stinki is starting to stink. Rotten eggs
After $1B FCF in the 1Q, no one believes they will do $16B for the full year. Less believable than Stankey telling them customers were paying late. FCF is necessary to pay down debt and pay dividends. If they miss the targets for dividends or debt repayments they promised, then the stock gets hit hard. The market is sensing Stankey will miss again. It's been 7 days since the stock had a positive day
The dividend (that now may be at risk to help free up cash to pay down debt) can’t compete with risk-free vehicles like CD’s. Plus, so many individuals and institutions have lost on this stock (because no faith in leadership) that they are using those losses to offset gains on just about everything else in the market. It’s going to continue declining until it’s sold - piece by piece - over next 2-3 years. The question is if the government will allow a takeover and who would take on this mess.
