Jumped the Burning Ship

BURNING SHIP USAA

I finally did it... This place has changed so much and it’s just living he-l to work there now. I was one of the top performers in the DISTRICT… at least thats what I was fed by my manager… I was treated so differently when my numbers were going down because every single member is cancelling policies left and right due to rates going up, but weird I thought usaa doesn’t focus on sales?? Crazy how the premiums are sky rocketing but the CEO is taking a 157% raise while we get what 4%? Total bull. Let’s not even talk about the CEO crazy outburst on the town hall that everyone is so hush hush about… So I finally had enough.. I put my two weeks in, now get this. No one gave one cr-p and I was told I should leave effective immediately. So I did. There’s also wayyyyyy more stuff i can go on about but I shouldn’t let’s just say it has something to do with breach of privacy … i feel bad for the new hires…. That’s why they can’t even get a full class anymore…. 20 show up the first day and within a week they have 5 people left… I’m Going to a different company with better pay and less phone time. Bye to all the fake managers, bye to all the system errors, bye to the IT department that had no clue how to fix the system errors. Bye to all the self entitled members. Crazy how in this case the grass is greener on the other side.

From what I’ve heard, it was a Town Hall in Phoenix and a question was asked about RTO and why the sudden urgency along with low employee morale. Wayne allegedly danced around the question, then a follow up question was asked and presented with facts about RTO, and that’s what set Wayne off. AGAIN, I’m not in Phoenix, but that’s what I heard from someone who was in attendance.

That is some crazy sh-t about the Town Hall. Is that why Wayne has armed guards posted at his office door? And if just one person attended that Townhall and then people are going to talk about it.

I’m a former employee who left before this townhall and I’m curious. What does this mean about the town hall, “everyone that was there isn’t allowed to talk about it.”?

Are there actual leaders saying they can’t talk about it and are there repercussions if people do?

I believe it happened back in April maybe May.. Wayne started talking about how return to office is better and how people want to return and that “numbers” show the difference between WFH and RTO.. so than a Usaa data analyst spoke up and pretty much challenged this saying there’s no way these numbers exist and wanted proof. Apparently Wayne didn’t like that response and they both got into a yelling match. So they canceled that town hall and everyone that was there isn’t allowed to talk about it.
