Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

CT AUTO

Do auto techs in CT do anything anymore? I can’t get anyone to call me back including the managers and their manager? No wonder customer satisfaction is in the tank. I am an injury adjuster dealing with customer complaints all day for auto who doesn’t ever appear to be doing their jobs. For the price our customers pay I can’t believe how little people care in our company.

That region has been run into the ground over the past several years. It’s amazing what the company allows. If the customers only knew!

I’m a CT appraiser and honestly I don’t ever return calls unless it’s a vm from my CSL, sorry. Best bet is to Skype or email us then we MAY respond since you’d have evidence you reached out.

I cleared the task because here in India we don't do the needful because we don't understand claims.

Full fledged process redesign needed. Must remove current leadership at VP level in auto. Adds zero value with big head and no industry credibility. Some external firm will make $$$ once the company realizes full and complete rebuild of EVERYTHING is mandatory.

You can put any state’s initials in the title of the OP and the story is the same

You get what you pay for.

And the leadership positions most important task is to cultivate the employee culture of those who report to them and for the most part they don't have a clue of how to do that or even that they should be. That is where the dirty water starts at the top and flows down to the bottom.

At this point I would say it is beyond repair unless a true leader wants to take on this dumpster fire challenge.

I worked in that office in Rocky Hill CT prior to covid as an auto tech. It’s as dysfunctional as you’d imagine!

I think there’s something in the water in Ct. Every time I’ve been there people have been rude and have an attitude. Maybe it’s the state itself.

Allstate culture and morale is at an all time low. As is our customer service. As is retention, both employee and customer. Nothing works here anymore. Check your boxes and check the f out. That IS the corporate mentality

It's considered gauche in Connecticut to return calls between Memorial and Labor Days.

Seems like someone has a problem against people in CT.

You think that’s only happening in ct!? But I agree I don’t understand why internal employees no longer help each other. Strange way to treat your peers.

It’s the work at home way. It’s the big get even from the fallout of 2020. You sh-t on me I sh-t on you mentality. Get India or someone else to do it. The company is going to sooner or later anyway.
