Think they are setting you up for failure. I just started cross training in detections and weent through a few days trining and already got fails from qa for the most stupidest reason….

Failed for missing attachment? Lmao, that’s not possible noobie. Seriously if thats the case, just do what detections are good at and dispute it. I mean only you guys have the time for that anyway 😂
Forgetting to upload Clear = Defect. Defect = Pass with comments (I.e. “please add the Clear document that your team’s procedures require you to upload”
Fail = Making the wrong decision or not clearly stating why your decision was correct (i.e. you should have referred to investigations because this looks like fraud/money laundering or should have filed a SAR because this looks like fraud/money laundering.)
QA and QC reviewers are told specifically to not reinvestigate. If your documents aren’t there to support the decision you made, and/or your decision logic isn’t sound/clearly stated, what would you prefer happen? I’d suggest that if you don’t like your team’s procedural requirements, you discuss options for change with your manager.
Forgetting to upload a doc isn't a "Fail" from QA/QC. Unrelated but I'd love to see analysts have to go through a basic writing/grammar course before being allowed to write a narrative though.
forgetting to upload clear
People gettin fails forgetting to upload docs but knowing full well that they are available on demand…
Is the work d-mb? Sure as shrimp is. Does QA make the rules on what or how to test the work? No. Quality just gets blamed for d-mb policies written by Ops.
QA is there for only two reasons. Give the appearance that USAA is taking BCC seriously and to encourage you to quit.
What was the d-mb reason? Lol
