Thread regarding Capital One layoffs

This is not on us

Layoffs happen because those on top can't manage a budget. It's 100% their fault. So why is it that we get punished instead of them?

It will backfire for them to send all these jobs to the Philippines. Our customers absolutely hate speaking to over seas reps and demand US agents. Alabang agents constantly dump off calls on US agents. We can barely understand them so how can the customers? Roosters crowing in the background. You get what you pay for!

Which is crazy because they have already sold so many of the offices they had. They have outings/innings and pay for expensive things. Employees would rather have a job than a "fun day". I guess it is cheaper to pay someone in the Philippines than the US.

If you cry at Rich’s meetings and subscribe to their woke virtue signaling, it is 100% on you. Enjoy eating cat food, you cancers.

Totally agree, they should have first fired all the Director and above level, C1 hired some really stupid Directors and above people who have caused this nightmare for everyone.

The analogy is we the employees are the victims of human trafficking. The capone execs and management are the perpetrators of human trafficking and they're sowing misery and chaos.

100% agree. They the execs are intentionally reckless in over hiring and they know they can cut costs through 2x yearly performance calibrations and it emboldened them to be reckless.
