Am I the only one who needs to find cr-p to do throughout the day just to stay busy? Usually I wouldn't complain, but I'm starting to worry this is intentional and my days at Windstream are numbered. Are there layoffs coming sometime soon that I haven't heard about?

Don’t worry. If you’re going to be laid off, you’ll be the LAST to hear about it.
And my department is legit about 10 people short. We are the bottleneck for the workflow of many groups. Upper management just continues to ignore the problem.
To the OP…not sure what department you are in, but I am swamped with work. I find it hard to keep my head above the water with the amount of work I have.
I heard layoffs are happening tomorrow, 6/22.
There is a holiday coming up and they do like to ruin holidays…just saying
Though I didn't hear any layoffs this past 3rd Thursday, I wonder if there will be any this coming Thursday
Sounds like a typical Windstream middle to upper manager. And, there are oh so many of them.

Buddy I have never been busier in my career. At this point if you are sitting around with nothing to do it is safe to assume your name is on a RIF list somewhere.
