Tech companies have been treating their employees like rubbish for some time now. And C-gate is not the exception, actually, this company is one of the best at it, or shall we say worst in general. And it is mostly on management! However, do we need to be reminded that all of us in big tech are nothing but technology mercenaries? “Will work for money” and yes, it feels like every quarter we have a good chance to being let go, no matter how good, or how bad you are at your job, I’ve been watching other tech companies layoff boards and it is pretty much the same situation all over the place, which leads me to my next point, the root cause of this problem is the awful gov policies which have screwed up the economy in the last couple of years. It only took 2 years to destroy what was a thriving economy and turn it into a social program driven failure, yep, you go w o k e you go b r o k e. Hips don’t lie, excuse me, facts don’t lie, no matter how you look at it, it is the sucking economy which is taking jobs away, yep, including yours and mine. The covid followed by the current elected invalid and chief pretty much wrecked a thriving economy. The woke mentality at c-gate was not the cause. Just delete the woke emails, enjoy the three day weekend for the new holiday, and don’t participate in the flag raising. Bottom line treat your coworkers like you want to be treated and remember it’s a job.
Yup. Awful policy yields terrible consequences.
