Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Any layoffs coming for Virtual Auto roles?

VA, estimate share, etc, anything coming for us? I want to leave this dump but not if I can get severance by sticking it out a few more months.

2nd quarter was a disaster and I think you see them rip the band aid off and move everything else offshore as much as possible when 3rd quarter proves to be the same level of loss if not more.

Remember : they will do anything to reduce costs. You are expendable. They do not want to pay USA adjusters 40-80k per year. They can get a well spoken trained India associate for 15-30k per year or less. It’s just a matter of time. They have shipped off casualty processors to India and never said a word. They will do the same with VA and estimate share. They don’t care and you will be fortunate to get a severance and 6 months of unemployment. You would be better off to leave now. Billy from Pune is waiting for your job. Thanks corporate America. Allstate loves to follow the leaders. You made it easy for the millennials and Gen z ‘ers to live in the basements of the Gen X and Boomers. No more kids following in parents Allstate footsteps. At least all the nepotism is done.

They have new hires in Estimate Share and VA starting next month. Estimate Share is blowing up and staffing hasn’t been planned very well.

With current losses in auto and poor performance from India I doubt it. The India transformation is an epic failure. Surprise surprise that customers want to speak to an adjuster on their own continent.
