CB RCSA Understudy

Do not and I repeat do not sign up for this. This program is the most unorganized and is managed by the worst set of individuals at the bank. The actual work is not complex but those managing it have the absolute worst personalities and they talk to FST in most unprofessional undertones and are requiring travel mandatory all over the country and internationally . they will present this as a great career opportunity and booster. they are lying to you bc they are desperate for resources. the work is data entry into systems, note taking, and hand holding of previous BOA control personnel with unrealistic timelines and horrible personality types. If you say no, I cannot be stuck at the hilton in the middle of nowhere US for 2 weeks bc I have a family and previous outside commitments you are not compliant and they will try and report you to HR even though this isn’t even your job duty you were ever hired for. they are now saying you are not allowed to use PTO during workshop hrs, but there are really no breaks in the workshop until of sept 24. so those employees with 20+ years, good luck on cashing your days in. This program is understaffed and they are basically holding on by a thread due to resource constraints. i really am hoping more people say no, so secretly it suffers.

Incredibly disorganized program. Constant change. Additional meaningless requirements added on a weekly basis. A “job aid” that clocks in at 100+ pages. Very defensive group of leaders. Yeah it really is a hot mess.

RCSA is a mess created by Nate Herman, Bill Juliano and Gwen Mortel. PWC consultancy bill alone is more than 200 million dollars. And that is just one consultancy. Risk assessments themselves are a sub-standard soup of words and tick boxes and a complete waste of time. Policies they write are a pile of horsesh*t. These people are lining their pockets and lying to regulators.

That's one way to do it I guess. Funny thing is, as soon as the big travel bills started rolling in they reconsidered again and reduced the number of people that are required to be in-person.

RCSA = Risk and Control Self-Assessment

My understanding is that one of the identified reasons behind the Phase 1 problems, necessitating refresh, was that people were not engaged enough in the workshops so what was being produced had a certain level of scrutiny on paper, but not in reality. So they brought people in-person to better facilitate engagement and participation. "Stop multi-tasking on work and non-work things; you have to look like you're paying attention because people can see you in 3D" is not the only way to approach this, but it's what they did.

There's literally no reason why this work has to be done in person at all. Complete waste of time and money. It's a bunch of talking. There's this new invention called a telephone. With it, people miles away can hear your voice, and you can hear them as well! Oh the wonders of technology.

While my own situation at WF these days is a good simulation of what He-l must be like, when I read posts like this one I realize there are so many others here who have it even worse!

This used to be a pretty good place to work. It is sickening to see what has happened to it in the past 4 years or so.

Post ID: @hrw+1n8a6Dkd I did not create this issue. why am I stuck at the hilton cleaning up a criminals work, when I didn’t apply for this role. everyone in this program was basically lied to, we were never told travel would be required. not even our managers knew this requirement until later. so many people are having an issue with the constraints they are losing more resources than they can actually staff. everyone at the top literally can’t figure out why they are losing people left and right. news flash: it’s horrible management and they straight up lied.

I was told by my manager over a year ago to stay far away from this and never volunteer for it. I need to thank them again.

You can be stuck at the Hilton away from your family.

Or we fail RCSA, bank gets broken up, and then you can’t support your family.

But at least you won’t be at the Hilton.
You will be with them….
