East coast marketing is awful and a pure drag on input costs to this company.
1 manager for 2-4 people.....give me a break.

The management group should be small. Some of them supervise one person o none

Many managers must leave. Suncor is a very vertical company with many layers of management no doing much.

Let’s get a horizontal organization at Suncor and let go managers, supervisors and directors who get the fat bonus only by showing late, and not doing much

No matter how “Great” Accenture is, sole sourcing is a terrible idea. Consultants are very good at charge more for “scope creep”, and they do such relentlessly with a glee, and make you feel that it’s your demand to get consultants paid more.
Yes, Suncor has too many “management”. To be fair, a lot people in Suncor are complacent with being slack at work, both staff and union workforce.
Interestingly, Suncor is a company who will let you make things happen if you want to, and allow you to slack if you choose so.

I am sorry for Supply change management layoffs but there are a lot of people doing nothing, coming late, leaving early, not coming to the office at all, and not doing their tasks efficiently. Too many people in SCM but not many results accomplished.

Next round of layoffs will probably be before Suncor quarterly report to shareholder, which is in July. They want to show good results and cost reduction.

Id--ts are outsourcing to Accenture. So much for cutting out work and not relying on contractors and consultants.
