Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Are there more D-Days to come?

Just wondering.

Someone seems to be VERY GLAD about something.

So VERY GLAD that I left Oracle in 2017. Just a miserable place to work. Good riddance.

When will Oracle announce its widely expected plans to move HQ permanently to Bangalore? Just move all current employees to India, and Oracle's employees are nearly all "natives" anyway.

Alternatively, we could just relabel the Austin campus as "Bangalore 2". Gee, that would work!

Nobody really knows here. We might get laid off and we might not. The quarter numbers look good. Many people here just say things like "yes" or "yes many", etc. without having a clue, just to stir the pot. You can get laid off from any company these days, so those who crucify Oracle will be crucifying the next company they work for. Just be thankful if you have a job at Oracle or anywhere and keep your resume current just in case. Don't get too stressed out or you can get sick, literally, heart issues, high blood pressure, etc., etc. Be prepared for possible changes and enjoy life

While everyone is talking about the stock and revenue jump, on the background excel guys are cooking another round.

I'm thinking there will be, as it makes the numbers look better and the stock go up.
