@1orx+1n62mWEn, TSMC is not cheap and they’ve been raising their prices. They have no real competition which sucks for their customers who just have to pay the price for those high end nodes. Whether Intel can succeed is one thing. But companies certainly want alternatives.

The said no to Intel....but yes to TSMC. Who's surprised?
We can't even make our own advanced products - we contract TSMC for that. Why on earth would anyone want Intel to build their stuff when both Samsung and TSMC can do it better, faster, cheaper?
