Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

PG needs to listen to the market.

https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/INTC/

  1. Build fabs accordingly to meet its needs and capabilities. Stop focusing on concretes!!!
  2. Focus on AI/silicon design
  3. It should not spin out Mobileye. All the AI efforts within Intel should be combined together.

Spinning out Mobileye was originally meant to show the intrinsic value of the company. But it does nothing as at the moment, AMD is significantly more valuable than Intel.

Then recently, selling Mobileye shares was used to fund the fabs. But yesterday's news from Germany showed that the market is really angry about the way PG is leading Intel.

A CEO should work for its shareholders. If he thinks otherwise, he should resign and find a position in government or doing something else.

You assume executives want their companies to do well. In most cases if not all, they are instated to rally stock prices for investors, as well as themselves. This often involves selling hard assets and buying back company stock to artificially pump up stock prices. When all is said and done the executives cash out leaving the company hanging with little prospect while they go to rob the next company of its momentum.

PG should focus on finding a position more suitable to his talents - like teaching school kids how to make art with Elmer’s and elbow macaroni….
