Thread regarding MetLife Inc. layoffs

No replacements

It's incredible that the management does not consider it important to replace people who left, at the very least those who added the most value. What do they think, how much longer can we work like this? I have given up hopes that my colleagues who are now in another company will be replaced. It has not happened yet even though they left a long time ago. I will no longer do double workloads however.

This is a classic part of MetLife expense reduction strategy… I left 3 years ago and this was standard then as well…

You WILL NOT GET RELIEF… laying off folks and/or waiting for them to quit IS the strategy…

Replacements are on the way! They have already replaced the people they let go last week with their replacements in India that they have to train. IT is all going offshore start looking if you have not. I
