Lack of individual career growth

Why would anybody stay at DXC? I'm wondering how attrition isn't even worse than it is (and it's rather bad right now). I could deal with no raises and bonuses if I knew there was something I was working toward. But there is a complete lack of individual career growth unless you are well connected. So why exactly do people stay?

Mary was supposed to have done career planning, that was 3 years ago and she still hasn't started it. Now she's been made into to a F1 marketing girl doubt anything thing will happen.

There is no career in DXC, Mike made it clear a while back on a Town Hall when asked for pay "if you don't like it leave". DXC means standstill or go backwards.

Simple solution - WFR on list many time - given up caring for my customers and fellow stab in the back co-workers that I do as little as possible - just work to rule 40 hours per week - no more overtime / like weekend / evening work for my shower of a boss. I farm any criticism that people have for failed projects / assignments on to my co-workers and easy to blame offshore resource - along with any boring work - pass it on to others; I'm just collecting the $$ until DXC gives me a proper raise, or WFR.

I stayed because I was close to retirement and didn’t want to be on call or actually have to do too much work anymore.

Others stay because they could work from home and also not do too much work

Still others on my team stayed for who knows why think most are afraid of what they don’t know so they don’t leave

I’m glad I’m finally out of that sh-t hole company, with all the stupid processes and procedures that make it very difficult to make any progress for the customer

All the godda-n contractors that don’t know sh-t but talk like they do

The horrible executive team that just takes money hand over foot from the company

Aldo stock buybacks that only helps the executive team steal more money from the company

In my 50 years of IT work this is the first company where I didn’t receive 10% increases every year. He-l you don’t receive anything at this fu----g he-l hole.
